Privacy Policy

Prospertia is a boutique growth and transformation consultancy operated by Ed Booth. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Prospertia is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

We only collect personal data that you choose to give us. We do not require an account and do not collect data passively beyond basic, privacy-friendly site analytics.

When you submit an enquiry through a form on this site, we collect the information you enter — typically your name, work email address, company name, business stage, and the content of your message.

When you email us directly, we collect whatever is in that email and any attachments, along with your email address.

When you book a call through our booking link, you are taken to Calendly, a separate service. Any information you provide there is collected by Calendly directly, under Calendly's own privacy policy — see “Third parties” below.

When you browse the site, we collect aggregated, anonymised usage data (such as which pages are visited and roughly how often) through Vercel Analytics. This does not identify you personally and does not use tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

We use enquiry and email data to respond to your questions, discuss a potential engagement, and follow up where appropriate. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in running our business and communicating with people who contact us, and — once an engagement is agreed — the steps necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you.

We use aggregated site analytics to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in running an effective website, balanced against your right to privacy — which is why this analytics data is anonymised rather than tied to you individually.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site and respond to enquiries. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Resend and Web3Forms — used to deliver enquiry form submissions to our inbox.
• Calendly — used for booking discovery calls, if you choose to use the booking link.
• Vercel — our hosting provider, and the source of our anonymised, cookie-free site analytics.

We do not otherwise share your personal data with third parties, except where required by law.

Some of the third parties above may process data outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent adequacy arrangements — to ensure your data continues to be protected to UK standards.

We keep enquiry and email correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to you, maintain a record of the relationship, and meet any legal, accounting or contractual obligations — typically no longer than a few years after our last contact, unless a longer period is needed (for example, for an ongoing client relationship). Aggregated analytics data is retained by Vercel in line with its own retention settings and is not personally identifiable.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where we rely on consent for anything, you can withdraw it at any time.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

This site and our services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new tool or service. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
